Torre d'en Galmés is a Talayotic settlement on the island of Menorca, located between Alaior and Son Bou [1]. The town originated at the start of the Talayotic era and continued expanding throughout the Roman occupation of Menorca [1]. After the Roman withdrawal, the settlement was abandoned but later reoccupied and adapted by Muslim refugees fleeing the Christian Reconquista [1]. These Muslim inhabitants maintained the site until the end of Muslim rule on Menorca [1].
