Poblat Talaiòtic de Talatí de Dalt

Talati de Dalt is a major Talayotic settlement on Menorca, Spain, located approximately 4 km from Mao, dating from around 1000 BC to the Roman conquest in 123 BC. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage "Talayotic Menorca" designation, the site features a distinctive taula (T-shaped monument) with a unique leaning support column, a large tronco-conical central talayot with attached chambers, hypostyle rooms, and sections of defensive walls. 1960s excavations documented ritual objects including lamb and goat bones, amphorae for wine, and evidence of fire within the taula sanctuary, reflecting post-Talayotic religious practices (650-123 BC).
