Tre'r Ceiri

Tre'r Ceiri is an Iron Age hillfort on the slopes of Yr Eifl in north-western Wales[1]. Its name means 'town of the giants', from the Welsh cewri, plural of cawr, 'giant'[1]. The settlement sits 450 metres (1,480 ft) above sea level on the Llŷn Peninsula in Gwynedd[1]. Evidence suggests the fort was first constructed around 200 BC, with most archaeological finds dating to AD 150–400, indicating the site served as a settlement during the Roman occupation of Wales[1].
