Caer Lêb

Caer Lêb is a Late Iron Age and Roman fortified settlement on Anglesey, west of Brynsiencyn near the Afon Braint [1][2]. Its name means "Leaven Castle" [1]. The earthwork enclosure features a double row of pentangular banks with marshy ditches, with the original entrance on the east side [1][2]. Based on excavations of comparable sites on Anglesey, the settlement may originate from the 2nd century BCE [1].
