TürkiyeMount Nemrut is a 2,134-metre-high (7,001 ft) mountain in southeastern Turkey, featuring massive carved statues at its summit surrounding a royal tomb dating to the 1st century BC[1]. The statues, all beheaded, remain unrestored. It is one of the highest peaks in the eastern Taurus Mountains[1].
