Huelva

Located in southwestern Spain's Andalusia region, Huelva sits at the confluence of the Odiel and Tinto river estuaries on the Atlantic Gulf of Cádiz. Archaeological evidence suggests a pre-Phoenician settlement existed around 1250 BC, though this remains debated among scholars. By the 9th century BC, Phoenicians established a colony here.[1][2]
