The Dolmen del prado de Lácara is a megalithic passage tomb located northwest of Mérida in Badajoz province, Spain, beside the EX-214 road connecting Aljucén with La Nava de Santiago[1]. Constructed during the late Neolithic, toward the end of the 4th millennium BC or early 3rd millennium BC (approximately 4500-3000 BC), it ranks among the most monumental and well-preserved megalithic sites in Extremadura[1]. The monument was declared a site of cultural interest in 1912 and a National Monument in 1931[1].
