Rubha an Dunain is an uninhabited peninsula south of the Cuillin hills on the Isle of Skye, Scotland, containing archaeological sites spanning 8,000 years of continuous human occupation. Key features include a Neolithic chambered cairn and passage grave constructed with alternating panels of upright slabs, excavated in 1932 and yielding pottery and flint tools. An Iron Age dun with massive fortification walls guards the seaward approach. A unique tidal canal connecting Loch na h-Airde to the sea once served as a sheltered galley mooring, likely used by Clan MacAskill from the 12th century. Designated a historic monument of national importance by Historic Environment Scotland in 2017.
