Strubben-Kniphorstbos

The Strubben–Kniphorstbos is a nature reserve of 377 hectares, located between Anloo and Schipborg in the Dutch province of Drenthe [1]. It is the only archaeological reserve in the Netherlands [1]. The province of Drenthe is rich in archaeological remains of the funnelbeaker culture, with 54 extant dolmens, of which two are within the boundaries of the reserve [1]. It also houses some sixty burial mounds [1].
