Xrobb l-Ghagin Temple is a ruined megalithic temple in Marsaxlokk, Malta, built during the Ggantija phase (3600-3000 BC). First excavated in 1914-1915, it features a typical Maltese temple plan with two stone apses, a central niche, and a paved court facing southeast, constructed on an artificial terrace due to steep terrain. Long thought destroyed by coastal erosion, 2015 investigations revealed the temple remains survive along with previously unrecorded megalithic structures in a nearby gully, suggesting the original site was considerably larger than believed. Archaeologists now work strapped to tower cranes to document remains at the eroding cliff edge.
