Borġ in-Nadur is a prehistoric complex near Birżebbuġa, Malta, occupied during both the late Neolithic and Bronze Age (c. 3000-700 BC). A megalithic temple was built here around 2500 BC during the Tarxien phase. The Bronze Age settlement features a defensive wall standing up to 4.5 m high, considered the earliest fortification in Malta. Excavations by Margaret Murray in the 1920s and David Trump in the 1950s recovered pottery imitating Mycenaean designs, indicating Mediterranean trade links. Finds are housed at the National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta.
