FranceFa'ahia is an early Polynesian settlement on the north-east coast of Huahine in the Society Islands, French Polynesia. Dating to between 700 and 1200 CE, it is one of the rare wet sites in Polynesia where waterlogged conditions have preserved numerous organic artefacts including wooden patu hand clubs, canoe parts and adze handles [1].
