Hadsar Fort is a fortress in the Junnar region of Pune district, India, strategically positioned to protect the ancient commercial trade route from the Mawal region to Kalyan via Naneghat[1]. The fort features a remarkable bastion and entrance gate, distinguished by their exquisite sculpture design not found at any other fort in the region[1]. All major structural elements—including the entrance gate, sentry rooms, water cisterns, and access steps—were masterfully chiselled from a single massive rock[1][2].
