Newgrange is a prehistoric passage tomb in County Meath, Ireland, situated on a rise overlooking the River Boyne, 8 km (5 mi) west of Drogheda [1]. Constructed around 3100 BC during the Neolithic Period, it predates Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids [1].
