EgyptThe Pyramid of Khafre (c. 2558-2532 BC) is the middle and only partially clad pyramid of the three Great Pyramids of Giza [1]. Built as the tomb of Fourth-Dynasty pharaoh Khafre (Chephren), it is the second-largest and second-tallest of the Giza pyramids [1]. Unlike its neighbors, it retains some of its original limestone casing at the apex, the only Giza pyramid to do so [1].
