Caer Bach is a small hillfort in Conwy County Borough, North Wales, on the eastern slopes of Tal-y-Fan, an outlying peak of the Carneddau mountain range in northeast Snowdonia[1]. The name translates from Welsh as 'Small Fort' or 'Little Fortress'[1]. Two lines of defence circle the rounded hillock[2]. The site remains of indeterminate age with minimal investigation conducted to date[1]. The location sits at approximately 413 metres elevation, offering strategic views over the surrounding landscape[1].
