Tregele

Tregele is a small village in northern Anglesey, Wales, near which stands the Llanfechell Cromlech, a Neolithic chambered tomb dating to approximately 4000-2500 BC. Late Neolithic and Early Bronze Age rock art was discovered on one of the monument's stones in 2004-2005 by Dr. George Nash. The site sits within a distinctive prehistoric burial-ritual landscape alongside the Meini Hirion stone group and the Llanfechell Standing Stone. Despite its significance, the cromlech remains unscheduled and lacks formal heritage protection.
