Tregele

Tregele is a small village in northern Anglesey, Wales, near which stands the Llanfechell Cromlech [1]. Late Neolithic and Early Bronze Age rock art was discovered on one of the monument's stones in 2004-2005 by Dr. George Nash [2] [3]. The site sits within a distinctive prehistoric burial-ritual landscape alongside the Meini Hirion stone group and the Llanfechell Standing Stone [2] [3]. The cromlech remains unscheduled and lacks formal heritage protection [2].
