An ancient agricultural settlement in the Taurus mountains of Cilicia, near Silifke in Mersin Province, Turkey. Founded in the Hellenistic period, it was rebuilt during the Roman and early Byzantine eras, peaking in the 5th-6th centuries. Ruins include two three-aisled basilicas, a two-storey villa with pentagonal tower, two tetrapylon gates, cisterns, and a paved limestone road connecting to the Mediterranean coast. The settlement was abandoned in the 8th century due to Arab invasions.
