Saudi ArabiaAl-Dafi is a residential archaeological site near Jubail, Saudi Arabia, measuring 235 x 200 meters. Dating to the 3rd century BC through the 2nd century AD, it flourished during the era of the intermediate Arab kingdoms. Excavations revealed 149 bags of pottery fragments, Hellenistic architecture with domes, cylindrical vaults, and pillars. The site has cultural links to nearby Thaj, Failaka Island in Kuwait, and Al-Faw in Wadi Al-Dawasir.
