Saudi ArabiaHieroglyphic petroglyph near Tayma oasis in Saudi Arabia's Tabuk Region, discovered in 2010 by local archaeologists. Found ~400 km north of Madinah and northeast of Madain Saleh, it is the first confirmed hieroglyphic epigraph discovered in the Kingdom. The inscription names Pharaoh Ramesses II (User-Maat-Ra), indicating Egyptian influence or trade connections in northwestern Arabia during the 13th century BC.[1]
