Village in Gmina Skarszewy, Starogard County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, northern Poland, about 38 km southwest of Gdansk. Human settlement dates to prehistoric times, with an Iron Age cemetery near the village now registered as an archaeological site. The Pomeranian region was home to the Lusatian culture during the late Bronze Age, whose people practiced cremation burial in urns placed in stone cists beneath barrow mounds.
