Krzemionki is a Neolithic and early Bronze Age flint mining complex located about 8 km northeast of Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski in Poland. The site extracted Upper Jurassic (Oxfordian) banded flints. It ranks among Europe's largest prehistoric flint mines alongside Grime's Graves in England and Spiennes in Belgium.[1]
