Stone Circles at Odry

The Stone Circles at Odry form one of Europe's best-preserved Gothic burial grounds, located in the Bory Tucholskie Biosphere Reserve in Pomerania, Poland. The 40-acre site contains 10 fully preserved and 2 partially damaged stone circles, each 15-33 metres in diameter with 16-29 boulders. Associated with the Wielbark culture, the cemetery was used by the Goth population from around 80 AD to the 3rd century, with at least 602 burials containing gold, silver, amber jewelry, Roman ceramics, and equestrian equipment. The site became an archaeological and natural reserve in 1957.
