Kleczanów Forest

Kleczanow Forest is a small forest complex near Kleczanow village in Sandomierz County, Poland, containing 37 well-preserved burial mounds (kurgans) arranged in four clusters across approximately 2 hectares [1] [2]. Discovered by Marek Florek in 1990 during the Archaeological Image of Poland project, the mounds feature primarily crematory burial practices [2] [3].
