Przywóz

Przywóz is a Przeworsk culture settlement and kurgan cemetery in the Warta river valley near Wieluń, south-central Poland. Two burial mounds known as the "Ducal Kurgans" date from the 2nd-4th century AD and served as the burial place of local chieftains. Excavations from 1964-1974 uncovered iron carpenter's tools and a silver denarius of Faustina the Elder, wife of Emperor Antoninus Pius, attesting to long-distance trade along the ancient Amber Road connecting the Baltic with Rome.
