Kłopot, Lubusz Voivodeship

Klopot is a village in western Poland, in Gmina Cybinka, Slubice County, Lubusz Voivodeship, situated near the eastern bank of the Oder river opposite the German town of Eisenhuttenstadt. The village contains three archaeological sites dating from the Early Middle Ages. The area has been part of Poland since the state's establishment in the 10th century, passing through Prussian and German control before returning to Poland in 1945. Klopot is also notable as a European stork village due to its large resident population of white storks.
