Mawk'ataray (Quechua: mawk'a "ancient" + Taray, meaning "old Taray") is an Inca-period archaeological site in the Cusco Region of Peru, situated in Calca Province, Taray District. The name refers to the nearby town of Taray in the Sacred Valley. The site dates to the Late Horizon period (1438-1530 AD) and preserves remains associated with Inca settlement in the Urubamba Valley region.
