Wayna Tawqaray is an archaeological settlement in Peru's Cusco Region, situated approximately 5 km southeast of Cusco at 3,600 meters elevation on the slopes of Mount Tawqaray [1]. Active during the Early Horizon period (1–500 AD), this Andean site occupies a strategic position above the Watanay River, southeast of Mount Araway Qhata and the hill Muyu Urqu [1].
