Inka Wasi, Ayacucho

Inka Wasi (Quechua for "Inca house") is an Inca archaeological site in Peru's Ayacucho Region, Parinacochas Province, Pullo District. The site comprises a set of old buildings and stone structures built by the Inca Empire, with walls demonstrating the characteristic Inca technique of large stones fitted together perfectly without mortar. It functioned as an administrative center controlling the Parinacochas Province, set against the backdrop of volcano Sara Sara and Lake Parinacochas. The site likely served as a residential outpost or waystation aiding Inca territorial control.
