Mookambika Wildlife Sanctuary is a 370.37 sq km protected area in the Western Ghats of Udupi district, Karnataka, India, notified in 1974 and later expanded. Named after Goddess Mookambika of the Kollur Mookambika Temple located at its heart, it encompasses the Kodachadri hills. The sanctuary connects Someshwara and Sharavathi wildlife sanctuaries and harbors tigers, leopards, sloth bears, lion-tailed macaques, king cobras, and diverse birdlife within its evergreen and semi-evergreen forests.
