Bejsebakke

Bejsebakke (also Sorthøj) is a prehistoric settlement in Aalborg, Denmark [1] [2]. It was a Bell Beaker settlement from the Late Neolithic and a settlement of the Late Iron Age [2] [3] [4]. Excavated in 1958 by the National Museum of Denmark and again in 1999–2000 by Aalborg Historical Museum, archaeologists uncovered more than 350 pit houses and 40–50 large longhouses [1] [2].
