Ksar Lalla Fatma

Ksar Lalla Fatma is a Berber-Roman villa complex in northeastern Algeria, located within a cork oak forest near Oued Djenane in the Commune of El-Ayoun, wilaya of El-Tarf [1]. Dating to the 4th century AD, the site features a rare two-storey villa still visible above ground, accompanied by farmhouses, an oil mill, an aqueduct, a cistern, and thermal baths equipped with hypocaust heating systems [1]. This extensive agricultural and residential complex illustrates the Romanization of rural Berber settlements in late antiquity.
