Ksar el Kaoua

Ksar el Kaoua is a Roman castle dating to the 3rd century AD, likely constructed during the reign of Emperor Constantine I, situated in the ancient Roman province of Mauritania Caesarea. The site, located approximately 12 kilometers north of Ammi Moussa in the Wilaya of Relizane in western Algeria, is also known as the Ruins of the Latifundium of Kaoua. This structure represents a Roman imperial residence or large agricultural estate (latifundium) within the Late Roman Empire period in North Africa.[1]
