Çatıören is a Hellenistic archaeological site in Mersin Province, Turkey, featuring a 2nd-century BC temple dedicated to Hermes [1]. The site displays polygonal masonry characteristic of Hellenistic architecture [2]. A Byzantine church from the 6th century AD was later constructed on the site [2]. Only three buildings remain partially standing, including the temple, the church, and a probable tower to the south [2]. Additional ruins include cisterns and sepulchers [2]. The temple represents an important example of ancient religious architecture in the region [1].
