Biskupin is an archaeological site and reconstructed fortified settlement of the Lusatian culture in north-central Poland, dating to the 8th century BC [1][2]. Initially mistaken for an early West Slavic settlement, excavations revealed it as a Bronze Age stronghold [1]. Today, it operates as an open-air museum where visitors can explore life-size reconstructions of the prehistoric settlement [1][2].
