Tambo Viejo

Tambo Viejo is a 44-hectare archaeological site in the Arequipa region of southern Peru [1]. The settlement was occupied from the Early Intermediate period through the Inca era until the Spanish colonial period [1]. Excavations have uncovered Early Nasca pottery, Inca structures, and Spanish colonial remains, making it a multilayered site [1].
