Modestus Zafer Takı

The Arch of Mettius Modestus is a monumental triple-vaulted triumphal arch at the ancient Lycian city of Patara, Turkey, built around 100 AD in honor of C. Trebonius Proculus Mettius Modestus, the Roman governor of Lycia and Pamphylia [1] [2] [3]. The structure stands 10 metres high and 19 metres long [3]. Modestus later became consul in 103 AD [2].
