Thuburbo Majus is a large Roman site in northern Tunisia, situated roughly 60 km southwest of Carthage on a major African thoroughfare. This thoroughfare connects Carthage to the Sahara, passing through towns including Sbiba, Sufes, Sbeitla, and Sufetula.
