Bahşeyiş Anıtı

Bahşeyiş Anıtı is a Phrygian rock-cut monument located in Seyitgazi district of Eskişehir Province, central Anatolia, Turkey[1]. The monument showcases distinctive Phrygian architectural elements, featuring a rock-hewn gable roof and flattened side walls that reflect the general characteristics of Phrygian rock monuments[1]. Local communities know the site as the "Tip Fountain" (Tip Çeşmesi)[1]. A prominent deep niche carved into the facade represents a building entrance, creating a striking three-dimensional effect[1]. The monument contains a vertical well shaft extending from the roof apex down to the floor level[1]. Archaeological dating places its construction between the 6th and 4th centuries BC[2]. The monument remains accessible for visitors[2].
