Lukyanus Kitabesi

The Lukyanus Inscription and Equestrian Rock Relief is a Roman-period monument (1st–4th c. AD) in Konya Province, Turkey. It features a 1.85‑metre‑long horse relief carved on a steep rock face together with a niche, both situated approximately 10 metres above ground level [1]. To the right, a ten‑line Greek inscription measuring 0.85 × 0.95 metres is positioned about 5 metres from the ground [1]. The inscription records horse races to be held in honor of a young cavalryman who died, including the rules governing these races [1].
