Xagħra Stone Circle

Xagħra Stone Circle (4100–2400 BC) is a Neolithic funerary complex in Xagħra, Gozo, Malta, comprising caves used for burial surrounded by a walled enclosure [1]. The main phase dates to c. 3000–2400 BC, with the earliest tombs from 4100–3800 BC [1]. The caves collapsed before 2000 BC and the site later served domestic and agricultural functions [1].
