Ġgantija

Ggantija is a megalithic temple complex from the Neolithic era on the island of Gozo in Malta. The temples are the earliest of Malta's Megalithic Temples and predate the Egyptian pyramids, making them over 5,500 years old. They are considered the world's second-oldest existing manmade religious structures after Gobekli Tepe in Turkey. Together with other similar structures, Ggantija is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Megalithic Temples of Malta. [1]
