Temple of Lemminkäinen

The Temple of Lemminkäinen is a cave in Gumbostrand village, Sipoo, Finland[1]. It is tied to The Bock Saga, which describes an underground temple beneath a rock Bock called Kyypelivuori[1]. The cave is named after Lemminkäinen, a hero in Finnish mythology and the Kalevala[1]. According to Bock, the entrance was sealed in 987 when Christianity arrived in Uusimaa, forcing the concealment of pagan sites[1].
