Kastelli Giant's Church

Built around 2000 BC, Kastelli Giant's Church is a prehistoric stone enclosure near Pattijoki in North Ostrobothnia, Finland[1]. One of the largest of approximately forty "Giant's Churches" in the region, it measures roughly 60 by 35 metres with walls reaching 7 metres wide and 2 metres high[1]. The rectangular enclosure features six gateways[1]. These megalithic structures date to the Bronze Age period between 3000-1500 BC and represent an unusual form of prehistoric architecture in Finland[1].
