EgyptTemple complex in southern Egypt built during the reign of Ramesses II (c. 1279–1213 BC) by his Nubian viceroy Setau. Located on the Nile bank 90 km south of Aswan, it combines free-standing structures with rock-cut halls. The temple was dedicated to the god Ptah, Ptah-Tatenen, and Hathor, with Ramesses II himself venerated as 'the Great God.'[1][2]
