Al-Rabba (ancient Areopolis) is a Roman and Byzantine temple complex in Jordan's Karak Governorate, with remains dating from the 1st to 5th century AD. The site features minimal ruins of a Roman temple alongside other Roman and Byzantine structures. As ancient Areopolis, it functioned as a bishopric during the Byzantine period and later became a Latin Catholic titular see [1][2]. Archaeological investigations, including the 2003 excavation season, have explored the Rabbathmoba/Areopolis ruins [3].
