JordanQasr al-Abd is a large Hellenistic palace built in the first quarter of the second century BCE (c. 200-175 BCE) by the Tobiads, a prominent Jewish family during the Second Temple period[1]. Its ruins are located in the Wadi Seer valley near Iraq al-Amir in modern-day Jordan, approximately 17 kilometers west of Amman[1].
