Su Kemeri

Su Kemeri is a Roman aqueduct at the ancient city of Phaselis on Turkey's southern coast near Antalya. The aqueduct stretches approximately 450 m, beginning at about 13 m above sea level with a gradient of 0.22%, carrying water between the sea and a swamp toward the agora. Phaselis was founded by Rhodian colonists in the 7th century BC and became one of the most important trading ports along the Lycian coast. The aqueduct's well-preserved piers and arches remain one of the site's most prominent features along the northern harbor.
