TürkiyeApollonia was an ancient Lycian city near modern Kas in Antalya Province, Turkey. Its necropolis contains pillar tombs dating to c. 500 BC, attesting to Lycian origins. In the 1st century AD it joined the Tetrapolis with Simena, Aperlai, and Isinda. Visible ruins include a Hellenistic theater with 10 rows, six Lycian pillar tombs, Roman sarcophagi, Byzantine churches, baths, and cisterns.
