Batik Sehir Kekova

The Sunken City of Dolichiste lies submerged off Kekova Island along Turkey's Mediterranean coast. This ancient Lycian city, dating from the 14th century BC to the 2nd century AD, preserves remarkable underwater structures including a harbour, pier, Roman bath (hammam), fish sauce workshops, residential houses, cisterns, churches, chapels and a military tower. The island of Kekova, historically known as Dolichiste, covers 4.5 km² and is uninhabited today [1].
